Fairvue Lifestyle

The natural splendor of living on the water, the warm greetings of Club staff who know your name, inspiring attention to details and the seamless blending of privacy and hospitality.

These are the simple joys people can expect living in Fairvue Plantation.

  • Old Hickory Lake
    • Fairvue Plantation lies along 4.5 miles of Old Hickory Lake shoreline. The lake is a year-round haven for boaters, fishermen and watersport enthusiasts. Managed under the careful stewardship of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Old Hickory Lake is a unique preserve for both fish and waterfowl. Due to the constant flow of water towards the Old Hickory Dam into the Cumberland River, studies show that Old Hickory Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in Tennessee. Because of the temperate climate and relatively long recreation season, visitors have numerous activities to choose from including hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, picnicking, boating, and water skiing. The numerous species of wildlife here make nature study and photography additional exciting pastimes.

Fairvue Plantation is approved for boat docks on the lakefront lots. Most lakefront property has a slip in a shared dock on the property line of the neighboring lot, however some lots do not have docks.

  • Boating
    • Around Fairvue Plantation and throughout the lake, you will find a variety of boaters enjoying the beautiful water. Multiple marinas and boat access sites are accessible from Fairvue Plantation by a short drive or ride on the water. With indoor and outdoor storage, fuel stations and restaurants available, you are sure to find all that you need on Old Hickory Lake.

  • Fishing
    • Old Hickory Lake is host to several pro bass tournaments throughout the year. Huge Stripers and great Crappie fishing are also available at Old Hickory Lake. The world record Walleye was caught on the lake in 1960. Fisherman can be found all year long on the waters of Old Hickory Lake.

  • Waterskiing
    • Fairvue Plantation runs along the shore of the cove, which hosts the Old Hickory Lake Ski Club. The cove is set up with a slalom course and ski course boundary buoys. In addition to water skiers, you will find a number of wakeboarders, wakesurfers and other watersport enthusiasts throughout the lake.
